Real Fit for Real Cowgirls with Whitney Lloyd of MarkWest Denim

We all know as cowgirls finding a great riding jean is so important for comfort and durability, we look at every aspect to ensure the jeans we buy and wear meet our needs and goals. On this week's episode, I had the great opportunity of talking with a lady who is changing the game for horse girls everywhere in the name of denim. Whitney Lloyd is the founder and owner of MarkWest Denim which she started in 2022, but she didn't launch the jeans until this year. MarkWest has already seen an amazing response from cowgirls and equestrians who have purchased and worn the jeans and love them!

In fact, she already has a second batch of jeans in production now. As you will hear in the episode, Whitney puts so much passion and heart into designing a product for the horse girl who rides and helping them to feel not only comfortable, but have full confidence in the saddle.

I had so much fun talking with her and hearing about her background with horses, the industry, and the design process of the true blue jean. She also shares some great insights and thoughts about sportsmanship and community between competitors in and out of the show pen, being a role model for the younger riders coming up behind us, and so much more.

She has truly put in the work to create a jean that I believe every cowgirl will love from breed show competitors, rodeo athletes, ranch sorters, English riders and more! "These jeans are made for you", as Whitney says and designed for women who ride!

I think this is just the beginning for Whitney and MarkWest Denim, we will sure see a lot of great things as more women discover the amazing fit of these jeans and how they will continue to grow in the horse industry.
