Life can take us on many different paths and as much as we try to plan the way we want our life to go God has other plans! And those of us that work in the western and equine industries know just how hard of a life we chose, but sometimes if we lean into the setbacks and adversity this world can throw at us amazing things can happen!

Those low points and failures in life can show us how strong we really are and give us the motivation we need to work even harder to be successful and strive to never go back to being that person in that failure again!

Just like my guest in this week's episode, Natasha McCann, we can turn the hard circumstances in our life around for the better for ourselves and for others. It can help us to make the impact on the industry that we want to have on it.

When Natasha broke her back and neck years ago she was told she would never be able to ride or do things she does now ever again, but she was determined to not only prove the doctors wrong, but to help others who are in the same boat. She also uses her education in sports medicine to help women and native women who are victims of abuse learn to find independence, new life skills, and community at

War Party Ranch alongside the founders and the other members of the team.

Expanding your reach in the industry not only applies to continuing your education and keeping an open mind about other breeds and disciplines, but it's about being an expert in your field and learning as much as you can from others to better yourself, your business, and the horse industry.
